Secure Google OAuth, so owners can see and manage their reviews
A business owner connects their own Google Business Profile through Google's standard OAuth consent flow. After they explicitly authorize it, Bizvo securely syncs the reviews and ratings for the single location they choose, and turns them into analytics. Bizvo only ever accesses the connected owner's own Business Profile, and the owner can revoke access at any time.

Consent happens on Google
Bizvo redirects to Google's own consent screen, which shows exactly what is being requested and by whom. The owner explicitly approves — Bizvo never sees the Google password.

The owner picks one location
If the account manages several Business Profile locations, the owner selects the single location Bizvo may work with. Only that location's data is ever read.

Connected — and revocable
The card shows "Connected" with the linked account and location. A Disconnect button on the same card revokes access at any time; the owner can also revoke from their Google account settings.

Google's Business Profile APIs only expose a business's own accounts, locations, reviews and ratings through this scope — there is no narrower, review-only scope. Bizvo uses it solely to read the reviews and ratings for the location the owner selects.

How owners revoke access
Owners disconnect from the Google Business Profile card on their dashboard at any time — Bizvo then stops syncing and revokes the tokens it held. Access can also be revoked directly from Google account settings.
How Bizvo stores tokens
Google access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and used only server-side to perform the sync the owner authorized. Tokens are never exposed to the browser.
Why business.manage is required
Google's Business Profile APIs only expose a business's own reviews and ratings through the business.manage scope — there is no narrower, read-only review scope. Bizvo uses it solely to read the reviews for the single location the owner selects.
Limited Use compliance
Data received from Google APIs is used only to provide the review-sync and analytics features to that business. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI models — in line with the Google API Services User Data Policy Limited Use requirements.
